IMPORTANT NOTICE – ACTION REQUIRED
Multi-Factor Authentication Activation Preparation!
Many of our members have asked about our online banking having more protection with using a one-time password in conjunction with login credentials. We are excited to announce that Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) will be activated on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
There are 3 Important Areas that need your attention:
Accurate cell numbers & email addresses for ALL owners on ALL your CCFCU accounts. Detailed instructions below!
Mobile App Users MUST be on version 7.0 - Open the mobile app and tap the “Home” button on the bottom left. Scroll down to the “Support Center” and you will see the apple icon with your mobile version number. If it is 7.0 or higher, you are good to go! If not, visit the Apple Store or Google Play Store to download the latest version. (Search “Cumberland County Federal Credit Union”)
Account Aggregator(s) - Are applications that you have linked to your CCFCU accounts through online or mobile banking to allow you to manage finances from different financial and investment companies within Its ME 247. Only those that are integrated with Plaid (includes MX, formerly known as MoneyDesktop and MoneyMap) will work on Its ME 247 once MFA is enabled. Visit https://plaid.com/ and use the Chatbot if you need to check any account aggregator(s) you may have!
What to expect?
In the next few months, when you call us or visit a branch, our staff will ask you to verify and/or update your cell numbers & primary email address. This will ensure MFA will work properly for you once turned on.
What is MFA?
MFA will utilize a one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your smart phone via text or email. This code will be required to enter your online banking account. This will add another layer of security to your account.
How to update your information?
To avoid phone wait times, you can complete the “MFA Phone & Email Update Form” in your online banking mobile app or PC browser. (see instructions below)
